Customer Support
To assist in the support of our customers we intend (with your permission) to take a full hardware inventory of your PC. This will include information such as mainboard make & model, hard drive makes and sizes, graphics card details etc. This information will be stored here on our site and customers will have access to it via their own account. Having access to this data will help us to solve any possible future problems and recommend upgrades when required.
Warranty
All repairs carried out by the Doncaster PC Doctor carry a full warranty. All new hardware supplied will carry a manufacturer warranty. The period of this warranty depends on the manufactures but is usually a minimum of 12 months. Refurbished or second hand components will only ever be used with the full knowledge of the customer and warranty will vary from 1 to 3 months
Remote Assistance
We can now offer extra support for those cutomers who have access to a broadband internet connection and are using the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. This is in the form of the Remote Assistance tool supplied with Windows XP. The idea is that using this feature you can ask The Doncaster PC Doctor for remote assistance. This will allow us to take direct control of your PC, just as though we were sat in front of it. Using this feature may allow us to fix problems without the need to travel to your premises which should ensure you are back up and running faster than ever.
